Many missions have been accomplished in African countries
which include mainly the following :
• Study on the modes of engagement
with public sector in water supply and sanitation services
in developing countries – Case studies preparation
for ONEA (Burkina Faso and SONEDE (Tunisia). (2003 –2004)
• Training of trainers in Algeria on management
of wastes from health- care activities (2003)
• Long term viability study of the
sanitation sector in Senegal (1998 – 2000)
• Institutional options for the
management of the water and sanitation sector in Africa
- Water Utility Partnership for Capacity Building in Africa
(WUP) – World Bank (1997-1998)
• Long Term Water Project Senegal
(LTWPS): (i) the sanitation component, (ii) the conditions
of the financial viability of the sanitation sector, (iii)
the risks related to the project and the mitigation measures
(1997 –1998)
• Preparation of the National Sanitation
Strategy Report in Senegal (1998)
• Organizational and financial study
to put in place a National Sanitation Agency in Senegal
(1995 –1996)
• Identification study for the reform
of the sanitation sector in Senegal (1994 – 1995)
