IDEA-Tunisie is a consulting firm managed by Fadhel Ghariani an environmental engineer with nearly 30 years of experience in several fields (water and sanitation, solid waste, urban drainage, coastal areas and urban environment). Scope of services include : institutional analysis and reform design, private sector participation, strategic planning, capacity building and project management. Fadhel Ghariani participated in the setting up and the development of the Tunisian Sanitation Agency (ONAS) and directed the studies that led to the creation of the Senegalese Sanitation Agency (ONAS). His numerous contributions to the state of the Environment reports gave him a very good knowledge of the environmental issues in Tunisia. He was a Senior Urban Policy Advisor at USAID (Tunisia) in the Private Participation in Environmental Services Program. He served as a world bank consultant on the sanitation component during the water sector reform in Senegal. He provides technical assistance to Tunisian Environmental agencies in institutional, technical and organizational fields. He performs several missions contributing to the institutional and financial development of the solid waste sector in Tunisia.
